If you are traveling on a limited budget, 21 airlines offer cheap round trip tickets to Bangkok. The prices are from £351 to the £500 range, with the taxes and airport fees included. All the airplanes provide three meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. A vast array of entertainment is available for the traveler. Menu and entertainment vary, depending on the airlines.

For the same £351.00 airfare, Kuwait Airlines will take you from London to Bangkok with Boeing 777 international. The menu aboard the Kuwait airplane is purely vegetarian, but you have many choices: Hindu (meal comprised of vegetables cooked using Asian recipe or any specification), bland food for people who cannot eat spices, diabetic, low gluten, fruit platter. Jain, low calorie, low fat, low salt, low lactose, and seafood meals. There is a stop over in Kuwait.

For £400.00 to £500.00, you can purchase an economy class ticket from one of the following eight airlines: China Southern, China Airlines, Jet Airways (India), Aeroflot (Russia), Uzbekistan Airways, Gulf Air (Bahrain), Etihad Airways (United Arab Emirates) and Royal Jordanian. They offer a similar array of services. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served on all the flights. The menu is either western (sandwiches, roast beef, pasta) or Asian fusion. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let the airline know ahead of time.

While tickets in the £500.00 range are not as cheap, the airfare is still very economical. considering that you are traveling from a European to an Asian continent. There are tickets that costs as high as £2,000.00. The low £500.00 plus prices are offered by Sri Lankan Air, Swiss Air, Qatar Airlines (Qatar is located in the Persian Gulf), Royal Brunei, EgyptAir, FinnAir (Finland), Asiana Airlines (South Korea), and Cathay Pacific (China).

- Cathay Pacific Airways: Stop over in Hongkong for one hour and 15 minutes.

- EgyptAir: change of planes in Cairo. Layover is four hours and 30 minutes.

- Etihad Airways: change of planes in Abu Dhabi. Layover is one hour and 20 minutes.

- Singapore Airlines: change of planes in Singapore Changi Airport. Layover is 4 hours and 15 minutes. Aircraft is Boeing 777.

- SriLankan Airlines: change of planes in Bandaranayake, Colombo Sri Lanka.

- Turkish Airlines: change of planes in Istanbul. Layover is six hours and 56 minutes.

Once in Bangkok air space, the plane will land in Suvarnabhumi Airport. This is also called the New Bangkok International Airport. It's the only international airport in the city. It is a high tech with signs and travel-friendly directions, so you will not have any difficulty finding your way. It's also a major cargo hub. The Thai are serious about security, so security is very good. There are cameras all over the building. It's as modern as any major European airport.

Thailand is a beautiful country. It is exotic and faraway but you will not feel out of place because English is spoke everywhere. Native Thai citizens understand and speak English. It's a safe place. There are many foreign students studying in Thai universities and colleges. Of course, the issue of safety is commonsensical. As a rule, the country has clumped down on violence, especially on terrorism, which had been a one-time occurrence in the past. Make sure to read and familiarize yourself with the country's customs. And follow advice, don't venture in dangerous areas.

There are many cheap round trip tickets from the United Kingdom to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Outside of London, there are international airports where you can take your departure flight. If you are in the city of Aberdeen, you can catch a flight from the ABERDEEN AIRPORT (ABZ) which is located in Dyce. To get there, you can drive, take the bus or train.

For less than £700.00, BMI (British Midland Airways) and EVA Airlines (Taiwan) will take you to Bangkok and back. You can book your tickets with EVA Airlines. There are two stops. First stop is in London for a connecting flight, where the plane changes from BMI to EVA. The flight takes 17 hours and 25 minutes. The EVA aircrafts are Boeing 747-400F and McDonnell Douglas MD-11F, which is leased from World Airways.

EDINBURGH AIRPORT: Scotland's official airport is located at Turnhouse in the City of Edinburg. There is no rail service to get there. You can take the bus. There is a link, Airlink 100 Express Bus that goes straight there. You can also drive and park your car in designated terminals. The airport is located near the M8 motorway.

For £678.00 to £700.00, Thai Airlines and EVA Air will fly you to Bangkok. Both airlines will fly you out of Edinburgh Airport through BMI Air, which will land in Heathrow, London for your connecting flights. From there you will change to your designated airplanes (either Thai or EVA) based on the tickets you bought. Travel is between 14 to 17 hours. There are no fees for your first and second carry-on bags.

GLASGOW PRESTWICK AIRPORT: The airport is a busy hub for international flights in Scotland. It is located in the northern of part of Preswick in Ayrshire. It is very convenient to public transportation. There is a railway built inside the building named the Glasgow Preswick Airport Railway Station. It serves the surrounding areas of Glasgow Central, Ayr on the Coast Line, Stranraer, Newcastle and Kilmarnock. Public buses to the airport are efficient. They operate in Glasgow and Ayr. Driving is Glasgow Airport convenient. There is parking for long and short term passengers, and a shuttle bus that runs 24 hours everyday to take you between the terminal and the parking lot.

For the cheap price of £515.24, you can book a flight out of Glasgow Airport to Bangkok through Emirates Airlines. Taxes and fees are included. The trip will take an approximate of 16 hours. You will be riding Boeing 777-300 for six hours until you reach Dubai International Airport where you will change planes to Airbus A380-800. It will take six hours to land in Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok.

Aside from the above, you can purchase other cheap fares from Emirates. For £664.00 or £781.00, you depart out of Glasgow and fly to Dubai International Airport without having to worry about plane changes. It stops over for a few hours, then resumes its flight to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. . The aircraft is Boeing 777-300. Travel time is 14 hours.

MANCHESTER AIRPORT: The airport is located at Ringway in Manchester City (part of Greater Manchester). It is a very busy international hub with worldwide services. It is one of the most accessible airports because of its impressive public transportation system, operated by The Station. The Station is located inside Manchester Airport and it gives you many public transportation options. It is a remarkable system of buses, trains and coach services. For £659.00, Emirates Air has scheduled flights that take 22 hours and ten minutes. Aircraft is 77W. One stop in Dubai (DXB) International Airport. Change of planes to Aircraft 388. Stopover for three hours. It arrives in Bangkok after eight hours of flight.

For £675.00 to £775.00, Thai Airlines in conjunction with BMI (British Midland Air) has flights for 16 hours and 30 minutes. BMI Aircraft 319 will take you to Heathrow Airport in London, where there is a change of planes to Thai Aircraft International 744 which flies directly and arrives in Bangkok the next day.

BRISTROL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Located in North Somerset, Bristol England, this airport is among the fastest growing hub in the country. It's not as huge as other airports, therefore it cannot accommodate many large aircrafts. Boeing 767 owned by Thomson Airways is among the few large airplanes that regularly uses the tarmac. Public transportation to the airport is provided by two bus services, owned by First Group, runs every two hours from Weston-super-Mare.

KLM (The Netherlands) together with China Airlines will take you from Bristol Airport to Bangkok. You will board KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Fokker 70 which will take you to Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport for a change of planes to China Airlines 66, Boeing 747. There is an hour and ten minutes stopover. The flight from Amsterdam to Bangkok is direct and will arrive in Bangkok in 10 hours. The complete travel time is 13 hours.

BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT: The airport is located in the center of Birmingham in Bickenhill within the Borough of Solilull. It serves the West Midlands area of England. It is a very busy international airport and commuting is not a problem. All public buses stop in Terminal 1 of the airport. Buses 717, 757 and 777 from the rail station in Coleshile Parkway, East Midlands has regular routes to the Terminal. Convenient and free rail access from Air-Rail Link 0515 to 0200 to the Passenger Terminals in the airport is available. It runs every three minutes. Birmingham Airport is easy to reach if you choose to drive on your own. There are many motorways that connect Birmingham from all points of the country. Parking is available at car parks and multi-story parking lots near the area. There is parking in the airport for long and short term.

For £690.17 or £720.17 Emirates Airlines will take you to Bangkok from Birmingham Airport. Travel time is 21 hours and 45 minutes. There is a change of planes in Dubai International Airport. Stopover is for several hours. The flight to from Dubai to Bangkok is six hours.

Exeter International Airport: The airport is in Devon, four miles east of the city of Exeter. It’s in the South West of England. Exeter Airport is growing in popularity. As a result of this, public transportation is accessible. For buses, there is a service operated by Stagecoach. Service 56 (56A and 60B) and Service 379 will take you from Exeter Street, David’s Station to the airport. Service 56 does not operate on Sundays or bank holidays. There is no train that goes straight to the airport. From there, you will change planes and fly to Dubai where there is another stopover and change of planes. Flight resumes after two hours. The plane will reach Bangkok in nine hours. Total travel time is 18 hours and 55 minutes.

There are more cheap round trip flights available from the UK to Bangkok. China Air, China Southern, AirJet (India), Asiana Airlines (South Korea), Aeroflot (Russia), Kuwait Airlines and Royal Jordan Airlines are a few of the airlines that sell tickets for very low prices (£420.00 and up). Most of them depart from Heathrow Airport in London. All the flights are overnight. Food and beverages are included. The menu varies, according to the airlines. For example, Kuwait Airlines serves only vegetarian food. Be sure to inquire about the menu before booking your tickets if you have any preferences.
